The Ripley Art Centre is a fantastic place for meetings and exhibitions. I would like to run regular life-drawing meetings open to beginners and experienced artists. The initial life-drawing workshop will be free, however I need to gauge numbers so please call or email to register your interest.

Who would like to join me in this small Saturday Life Drawing group in Stockwell? I started it on 4 September 2012. Open to all abilities, we will use basic materials, such as charcoal and paper, or watercolour to draw the human figure including portraits. While it will be untutored initially, on an informal basis I am happy to share my experience studying techniques of representational art, in the atelier style at Lavender Hill Studios. These include the use of proportion, line & mass drawing a …
A fun, social, informal group that meets every Monday to do life drawing - all levels welcome. The session is very chilled 7.30-9.30pm with some fun warm up exercises to start and then some longer poses. Great for professional and beginner alike. Come have a drink and draw :)

There seems to be a lack of groups which get together to just draw in Peterborough. This group is intended to do just that. Meets will be at a variety of places and events (i.e city centre on sunday afternoon or a live gig on a friday night). The aim is to build on drawing skills while socialising with like minded people. Suggestions for meets are welcome.

Do you want to learn how to draw, improve your existing skills, experiment with new techniques and meet other people who share your interests? Do you want to observe the world around you with new eyes or develop your imagination? Draw portraits, landscapes, miniscule objects, mandalas, imaginative creatures, and abstract forms. Please join us for instruction, classes, and artistic outings.
This is a great group for anyone interested in drawing urban or rural (there are more than you might think) landscapes, city landmarks and the human figure (generally clothed) in a variety of locations and situations. It's also great if you want to explore a bit of the city. Each week all the members of the group get together once all the drawing is over (usually in a pub) to decide where to go the following week. Locations range from touristic to obscure, and are often chosen based on what bas …
We meet in London and further afield to draw and paint together, drawing each other in the pub, visiting museums, drawing in the city or the countryside and attending workshops. All abilities welcome.
Hi everyone! This group is for anyone interested in getting together to go sketching, drawing or painting in and around Hampshire and if you just happen to like visiting parts of Hampshire and might like to do something artistic to capture the many aspects of our county then this group is for you too! It doesn't matter what level of experience you have, even if you've never drawn, painted or sketched before - all skill levels are welcome (I am certainly no expert!). It's not a class, and there i …

This is a space for artists, life models and people who would like to explore life drawing and especially life modelling. In particular we train newcomers to the art of life modelling at our workshops. Spirited Bodies multi-life modelling events bring several models to pose together and be drawn by artists. Poses vary from the entirely organic to staged tableaux which may recreate scenes of classical paintings for example. People come to model with Spirited Bodies to experience being nude with o …
A group of people who meet sporadically in Cambridge to improve whatever level of drawing they have by doing drawing without the worry that people will be narked that you're drawing them. Sharing and critique is encouraged. Anyone interested in creating visual art is welcome, but it's probably best to stick to non-messy media: pencils, pens, brush-pens, or laptops, since we want to be allowed back! Remember the key to improvement is regular practice, so whatever your level come along and get d …
This group is for anybody who wants to meet other people whilst spending a few hours in the afternoons sketching in parks, museums, coffee shops and other locations in central London. Any level of experience is welcome...just bring a sketchbook and pencil and spend some time with like minded friendly folk drawing or painting and chatting over a coffee or cuppa and maybe a slice of chocolate cake...
Calling all budding artists! Drawing from life is so much more fun than copying photographs. There are already a lot of groups around London. But there is so much to see in the Surrey area as well, be it galleries or gardens. The idea is to spend some time sketching and then catch up over coffee to compare notes. All abilities are welcome, just bring along paper, something to draw with and plenty of enthusiam!

Artist working from home? Creative on flexi-time? Meet others to sketch over a long lunch, or to doodle over cakes and coffee. Cosy cafes for winter - riverside pubs and park cafes in summer. Hoping to put people in touch for smaller meets too, so feel free to suggest suitable venues in your area. There's as much chat as sketching, and no obligation to buy a full lunch if you'd rather have coffee. Becky www.rebellart.co.uk
